Sunday Bloody Sunday

Its been quite some time since I last posted. Mostly because I haven't really had anything interesting to say (not that I do now though).

I did watch one of the most frightening / informative documentaries I've seen in a long time. It was called "The End of Suburbia". It basically talks about suburban America and how it can't survive when the production of oil subsides. It was incredibly distrurbing to think of my current lifestyle making a complete 180 degree change. Anyways, if you are looking to become educated on current topics, it is definitely a must see... or, you can remain sheltered and ignorant regarding world energy consumption and thus be shocked when your lifestyle is forced to make an abrupt change. Either way, the choice is yours.

On a brighter note, Andrea and I went to Midland for the night. As usual, I came up to CMU Friday night. Then on Saturday, while Andrea was working, I drove to Midland for the morning and afternoon with the family. Then, after work, Andrea drove over too to eat a home cooked dinner and enjoy the company of my family. After dinner, Stephanie, Jason, Matt, Sarah, Andrea and I all went to Bennigans for a few drinks. I had never had Smithwicks before - it is an dark Irish ale and is quite tasty indeed. Anyways, we had a pretty good time hanging out.

I think Andrea and I might order some food for dinner, or maybe even make some Mac and Cheese or something. We're not looking to do too much today, especially since it is one of the ugliest days of the fall (40 degree, rainy, and windy as hell). Either way though, we're looking to just lay low.

Summary -- looks like I had a great weekend and I didn't even do anything. I just love being with Andrea and spending our time doing nothing together.
